My Story
My Story tells the story of my life, where I have lived, where I have visited and what I have enjoyed. The most important thing is that my life revolves around my family and my friends. Slainte, Ted

One time when he was shopping for supplies in Donald, near Golden he met a young lady by the a name of Lavinia Walker. She had arrived in North America from Muff. County Donegal, Ireland. They fell in love and were married. They both spent the rest of their lives living on the homestead.

I would like to dedicate my story to my mother, Vera May Watkins who taught Phyll and me that we should view everything we did or experienced in life as an adventure.
To my father, Joseph Edward Watkins who taught us to always seek the truth and then live by it.
To my big sister, Phyllis Lavinia Watkins who shared life's greatest adventures while growing up.
To the love of my life and soul-mate, Frances Marie Watkins (nee Oatman) who inspired me and encouraged me to write My Story.
